 A student is expected to continue classes at least for a year to gain  knowledge in basic theory and practise of asanas and pranayama as the syllabus is designed for the year taking into consideration the seasonal changes..Basics of Ayurved  commonly known as Ritucharya(seasonal conduct) and Dincharya(daily conduct) are kept in mind while teaching asanas and pranayam. Guidelines for diet as per the seasons are also given in the sessions. Each student is motivated to understand the subject of yog and not restrict the learning only to asanas.

There is a monsoon, Diwali and Christmas break as it has been observed that the attendance drops during these school breaks.

 

General Rules for classes in Shriyog

Kindly reach class 10 minutes before your class time.
If the prayers have begun, kindly wait outside till they finish.
Inform the teacher if you are suffering from any health problems on that particular day.
Please don’t miss class due to menstruation. Inform the teacher so you can practise the necessary routine.
Cotton clothing – T-shirt and shorts, – are preferred.
An hour should elapse after a light meal and four hours after heavy meal for practise of asanas.
Tea, coffee or any other beverage – half an hour before practise.
Light beverages can be taken after practise but at least an hour should elapse before solid foods.
It is easier to practise asanas after bath at least 20 minutes should elapse before starting practise.
One can have a bath 15 to 20 minutes after practise of asanas.
Classes duration -75mins.
One is expected to get his own sticky mat for practise.
All vehicles should be parked outside the society campus.
Please switch off your mobile phones in the centre.
Bags, car keys etc. are to be kept on the terrace in the space provided.

Admission procedure

Kindly call on 9850950949, proceed to the extension as per the class time you prefer.
The extensions are classified into –Morning classes, Evening classes, Senior citizen and Children classes,Therapy and other information.

Fees

Beginners class(three times a week)-Rs 2250/- per month inclusive of service tax.
Beginners class(two times a week)- Rs 1500/- per month inclusive of service tax.
Beginners class(once a week) -Rs 750/- per month inclusive of service tax.

Fees are paid for 3 months, cheques preferred in favour of–SHRIYOG INSTITUTE.

Fees for Senior citizens and kids are collected in favour of –RAJANI YOG FOUNDATION.
The fees for these two classes are exempted from service tax.
Senior Citizens– Rs 1000/- per month.
Children— Fees decided as per no of classes covered.

Schedule

Like every year the institute will be on a break from 1st May to 31st May.
Classes will resume on the 1st of June 2017.
